Meet Michele N. Burch
LCSW · Founder, CEO / Clinical Director
I’m Michele, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of The Healing Path Wellness and Consulting Services, LLC. I believe therapy should be a place where you can exhale, feel heard, and talk honestly about what life has been like for you.
My work has brought me alongside teens, parents, and families navigating trauma, emotional and behavioral challenges, and complex systems of care. My background includes multisystemic therapy, Wraparound, YES Waiver services, and behavioral health program leadership. Those experiences have taught me to look beyond a behavior or diagnosis and take time to understand the whole person.
At Healing Path, I offer telehealth counseling for women and adolescents ages 12 and older across Texas. I support clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting stress, emotional overwhelm, and PMDD. Together, we identify what matters to you and practice coping, communication, and everyday skills that fit your life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches. Faith can be part of our work when you want it included.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Johnson C. Smith University and my Master of Social Work from Tarleton State University. As a wife and mother of four, I also know that caring for others can leave little room to care for yourself. You deserve space for your own healing, too.
What guides our work
The Healing Path Mission
Our mission is to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care that helps individuals and families feel seen, supported, and equipped to heal. We honor each person’s strengths, voice, and lived experience while building practical paths toward emotional well-being, stronger relationships, and lasting hope.

Consulting and training
Helping teams see the child behind the behavior.
I’m passionate about helping the adults who work with children understand what those children may be carrying. Trauma, grief, anxiety, family stress, bullying, and the pressure to fit in can be part of a child’s story, even when the first thing we notice is a difficult behavior.
Through consulting and training, I help schools, youth-serving teams, and community organizations make room for that fuller picture. We talk honestly, work through real-life situations, and practice ways to build trust, respond calmly, and hold clear, caring boundaries. My hope is that your team leaves feeling more confident and better equipped to help kids feel safe, understood, and supported.
